I was feeling excited to see a Gap Outlet and Old Navy moving in near my neck of the woods, but now I read that they're not keeping up in the fashion world and suffering slow sales. What gives?

Now granted, there's only so many jeans, khakis and cardigans one can purchase. But slow sales were never a problem for them before, and recently they have lain their woes on fashion trends, or lack thereof. The fashion industry is certainly undergoing a major shift, I wonder if Gap will become a casualty. I certainly hope not because I can use a new pair of Old Navy yoga pants.
