Something strange happens when you write a novel - you stop reading other people's novels. At least I did, because I didn't want to be influenced by contemporary writers, and let's just face it, with the internet the way it is reading has almost fallen by the wayside. I read a lot of business books and articles, but reading for the pure pleasure of it just hasn't happened lately.

That doesn't mean that I don't have some interest and curiosity in stories, and if it has anything to do with the fashion industry, then I'm all in. New York Times bestseller Linda Fairstein places her protagonist, assistant district attorney Alexandra Cooper smack dab in the middle of it all, and I'm sure it will be worth the read.
