I'll admit, I've never watched Outlander. I've heard several good things about it, but what I do know about it I learned from a friend. The costume designer has brought some much-deserved attention to Scottish fashion and just great design and tailoring overall. 

I see patterns for the knits featured in the show on a regular basis and at some point I will spend time studying and learning from them.
